Cat Network cables are the perfect combination of value and performance. CAT Network Cable is an ideal solution tethering a long distances. USB cable is not recommended over 15 feet without an active USB extender. Signal loss and noise could occur otherwise. Daisy chaining multiple active USB extenders is a solution but can get expensive and is limited to 79ft total. CAT Network cable can extend up to 150 feet without interference, signal loss or noise. Although a little slower than traditional USB it makes for a good inexpensive solution when tethering long distances. Used in conjunction with USB CAT Extender over network cable.
