The Telex BOP-220 is a Gold Iridite 19" 3 RU (Rack Unit) breakout panel, I/O connector transition assembly. Provides a convenient interface between a SAP-1626 (25-pair 50-pin) and up to 20 user stations or strings of stations (3-pin XLR male).I/O Connector Translation AssemblyThe BOP-220 breakout panel interfaces with the SAP-1626 and the TW Intercom user stations. It is a passive routing device, which converts the two (2) 50-pin connectors from the SAP-1626 to 20 XLR 3-pin male connectors for direct connection to the user stations. All 20 user station lines connect to this central point.PackagingIt requires three (3) rack units. It is inset from the rear rack rails to allow for cable connections. Each connector is numbered with respect to its pair of thumb wheel switches on the SAP-1626. This allows for easy system connections as well as rapid disconnection in the event of a faulty line.
