The Maxim III is our premiere digital Sound Field System for use in the classroom. It supports not only the features that every classroom needs to control multimedia audio, but also the integrations that ensure all school communications are heard: pages, fire alarm, and security alert. When paired with wireless microphones, the Maxim III is the teacher's best instructional aid for lesson comprehension and on-task behavior.- IRT-60 Sapphire Microphone -The Sapphire is our flagship microphone. Hands free, lightweight, and hardly noticeable when worn on a lanyard or clipped directly to your neckline collar.PerformanceThe Sapphire's vocal clarity is unsurpassed. It boasts high level output, reliable connectivity and exceptional definition. With a built-in breath filter, the Sapphire can also function as a pass-around hand mic.FunctionHold for 1 second to power ON. The "TL" light will glow blue. With a tap on the power button, the mic mutes (blinking blue light) for private conversation-tap again to restore to normal operation. The auxiliary input allows wireless playback of an audio device like a music player. A three-position slide switch provides selection of HIGH, MID or LOW (Normal, -3dB or -6dB) microphone volume level.SafetyThe IRT-60 features: Security Alert, holding down the priority button for five seconds activates a contact closure.- ICS-55 Infrared Dome Sensor -The ceiling sensor is the preferred infrared sensor for optimum performance. It comes standard with Forum, Maxim III, Spectrum II, VoiceLink I, VoiceLink Plus, VoiceLink III and VoiceLink IV packages. This unit needs to be installed on the ceiling at least 3'-0" from the video projector. It comes with a mounting/support bracket and 50 feet of plenum rated cable with RCA connector on each end.The ideal location for the dome sensor would be in the center of the ceiling. This will provide a clear signal path for the IR transmission from the transmitter to the dome sensor without obstruction. In addition, you will have 360 Degree coverage and will minimize the transmission distance for more reliable performance. It collects the infrared transmission signal via 6 large detecting diodes. The sensor is connected to the mixer/amplifier via a plenum rated cable terminated with RCA connectors. The mixer/amplifier supplies the power to the sensor.- SP-628 Ceiling Speaker -SP-628 is a 6.5" two-way full range compact coaxial ceiling speaker, providing low distortion and a smooth natural frequency response ideal for articulate vocal clarity. The SP-628 has integrated steel backcan along with 24" tile bridge which allows for quick and easy installation.ETL PLENUM RATED CONFORMS TO UL2043 STANDARDIntended useIndoor environment, mounted parallel to floor plane in a 24" wide suspended ceiling tile.The TeachLogic CS-4 Ceiling Speaker Package consists of four SP-628 ceiling speakers.- BRC-60 Drop-In Battery Charger -This stylish desktop drop-in charging station makes it convenient and easy to recharge both Sapphire Pendant and Handheld Microphones. Charge one IRH-35 handheld transmitter and up to two IRT-60 Sapphire transmitters simultaneously. Charging indicator lights illuminate Red when charging and Green when fully charged. The power LED illuminates Blue when plugged in.
