Mainly practiced by the womenfolk of the community, Madhubani paintings use an array of natural dyes to paint their characteristically intricate and geometric compositions of religious figures and local flora and fauna.Taavi Tribe is inspired by these complex, storied paintings. The artform's expression of flowers, plants and animals is modernised with Tribe's minimal, earthy colour palette and the occasional energetic hue.
