Robinson (1929-2018), the author of similar works on the San Gabriels and the San Bernardinos, collaborates with forest ranger Bruce Risher to present the definitive story of the San Jacinto Mountains, part of the great California Peninsular Ranges, incorporating a wealth of geologic information, local history, and hundreds of vintage photographs.
