Syriana(DVD English)

Directed by Stephen Gaghan, Syriana features a legendary cast that comprises of George Clooney and Matt Damon as the chief characters. The state of the oil industry is tense. A contract to the US is cut and instead, is given to China by a middle-eastern company. US fires some of its immigrant workers and teams up with a Kazakhstan oil company. Sensing something unsettling, Dean Whiting, played by Christopher Plummer, seeks to settle the merger without any issues. However, Bennett Holiday, played by Jeffrey Wright ensures that the Department of Justice does not receive any news of allegations through all the dealings. A geopolitical thriller, Syriana boggles the mind of the viewer.
