It describes Hilda Strauss's endless courtship of the banks and the vow of her son Michael never again to be at their mercy. It tells of Michael`s promise to his father to avenge the family for the injustices inflicted on them by their competitors - their struggles against Artic and the Tnuva monopoly, the huge transactions woven right under the noses of Clal and Koor giants, and partnerships with the international conglomerates, Geravis, Danone and Unilever and Strauss`s partnership with Elite.
