Sony XDS-PD1000 Entry Level Professional Media Station

The Sony XDS-PD1000 is a blend of video server technology integrated with Sony SXS memory card readers and the new 4th generation Professional Disc drive with front panel controls similar to XDCAM decks. The XDS-PD1000 has 1.0 TB of RAID-4 hard drive internal storage, has dual SXS card readers and the new generation XDCAM drive which support all of the Professional Disc media types: 23GB (PFD-23A), 50 GB, (PFD-50DLA), the 128 GB write once XDCAM disc (PFD-128QL) and the newest 100 GB, triple-layer re-writable Professional Disc (PFD-100TLA). The XDS-PD1000's engine can provide up to 200 Mbps of bandwidth for file transfers and base band I/O operations.
