Sony HD Frame/Line Synchronizer

The Sony HKSP-008HD HD Frame/Line Synchronizer from Sony is a board that synchronizes an input HDTV video signal to an external reference. It is designed for use in PFV-SP Series Signal Processing Units in any combination with other HKPF-SP/HKSP function boards. It features (1) equalized input, (3) distribution outputs and (1) black burst or tri-level sync reference input with passive loop-through output. It also features (8) channels of audio. Three types of operation modes can be selected (Frame Synchronization mode, Line Synchronization mode and Delay Line mode). A built-in test generator comes standard with this unit. A variety of freeze functions can also be selected to work with detection of errors in the input signal. This board is remotely controllable from an optional HKDV-503/900 Digital Video Controller via a RS-422 (GPI also provided). It can also be controlled via the UCP-8060 Universal Control Panel (Ethernet 100BASE-TX). All controls are managed through the PFV-SP Series Signal Processing Unit.
