Sony CCU-TX50 Triax Camera Control Unit with SDI for DXC Series Cameras

The CCU-TX50P is a triax Camera Control Unit for use with the DXC-D50 camera family. It has a compact, 3U half-rack design for convenient installation and provides comprehensive video audio and intercom interfaces. The corresponding CA-TX50 triax adaptor docks directly to the DXC-D50 series cameras. Convenient system integration The use of triax cable ensure significantly lower installation cost compared to multicore cable, as well as allowing long distance operation (up to 1500 metres with 14.5 mm diameter cable). The wide-band video transmission system minimizes signal degradation, as well as delivering a high quality video signal to the CCU outputs. Flexible operation The CCU-TX50P is a compact, 3U half rack unit and is suitable for portable operation, as well as for permanent installation. A front control panel allows access to most operational functions and set up, but for more versatile use, the RCP-D50 or RCP-D51 remote control panels can be connected to provide convenient operation from a control desk in a studio or OB van. Comprehensive video, audio, tally and intercom facilities The CCU-TX50 includes all the system interfaces required for studio and OB use. The video outputs include 3 Serial Digital outputs. Intercom interfaces are included for Four-wire, RTS and Clear-com systems. Compact design for easy system installation Half rack width and 3U height. High quality component video transmission system Long distance transmission - up to 1500 meters via of 14.5 mm triax cable. Flexible signal outputs Including one set of analogue component/RGB switchable outputs and three outputs switchable between composite video and SDI are provided. Return viewfinder signals and teleprompter capability Three return viewfinder inputs are available on the CCU or two returns plus teleprompter. The prompter channel can accept a composite color signal if required. Full Tally interface Both red (on-air) and green (slo-mo or auxiliary) tally signals are supported. Support for most intercom systems The CCU-TX50 has intercom interfaces to support most major intercom systems, including generic 2-wire and 4-wire, as well as proprietary systems such as RTS & Clear-com. A programme audio signal can also be transmitted to the camera head.
