The motor is thus significantly less stressed when switched on. This protects the bearings/gears and extends the life of the moving parts. The starting current is reduced by installing the starting module and the machine starts up smoothly. This usually prevents the fuse from blowing when it is switched on. Due to the small design the module can be easily accommodated in almost any machine or power tool within the housing.
