The fifth installment of the Sniper: Ghost Warrior series from Polish CI Games studio. In targeting contracts they take you to the Middle East to eliminate various targets as a sharpshooter. The game introduces contracts - side quests providing additional funds.Gameplay mechanicsAs in previous editions, Sniper: Ghost Warrior Contracts has no place for fast-paced action typical of classic FPS games. So if you are looking for such game, this is not a place for you. As the title sniper, the player enters enemy territory with the task of killing specific people or taking over, designated items. While you have means of defending yourself in a close combat battle type, you don't stand a chance against many enemies. Hence you must utilize sniper skills, and eliminate the most efficient targets as quickly and silently as possible. Rambo-style combat won't do.Unlike Sniper: Ghost Warrior 3, the game lacks open world. The creators focused on a more limited, and therefore condensed experience. Instead of exploring world taken straight from sandboxes, the player gets semi-open locations with objectives to fulfill.The contract system is an important novelty. The game rewards you with a predetermined amount of exp etc. for completing a task, but the player can also complete additional goals in order to receive a bonus.As usual the game also has the interesting option of watching the bullet travelling (in slow motion) through the air and finally killing the target turing its head into a splatter house.High realism of the gameSGW Contracts 2 is another work by the authors of the previous part of the series and it also raises the bar of realism in the sniper profession even further. You must master a rich arsenal based on realistic military equipment, explore vast territories that have never been so detailed before, and take on the most realistic opponents in the series.A few difficulty levels to choose fromEasy level - enemies' reaction time is the slowest, giving you much time to correct your shot. The number of hints regarding tactic and gameplay is the largest during the game. A red dot will be displayed on the screen, showing where the bullet will hit.Medium level - it is a balanced level of difficulty so to speak, in which enemies' reactions are faster and more aggressive. All hints from the easy level are retained, including the red dot.Hard level - This is the cream and butter of the Sniper Ghost Warrior Contracts 2 designed for players who really want to enjoy the best experience, the game has to offer. Enemies react very fast and hints received during the game are limited. The dot showing where the bullet will hit is disabled, forcing you to consider the strength and direction of the wind and distance to the target. Pay a visit to the Middle EastPlay the campaign as Raven, the sniper-assassin for hire, and complete a series of new contracts in the lawless region of the Middle East on the border between Lebanon and Syria. You must complete a mission that seems impossible: overthrow a sinister crime syndicate and bring its leaders to justice. It is not going to be easy. Syria and Lebanon are not allies of the United States of America or Europe.Butcher's Banquet - big DLC for freeThe Sniper Ghost Warrior Contracts 2 provides you with a free DLC known as the Butcher's Banquet.
