This game is set in the same timeframe as that of the previous game, which is during the Battle of Berlin in April of 1945. Synopsis and Features During the World War II, snipers became legends for taking out important targets and creating massive morale issues for the enemy. Here in Sniper Elite V2, you play an American Office of Strategic Services officer Karl Fairburne. Your main mission is to assassinate the scientists involved in the German V-2 rocket program. If the project goes live, it may have a devastating effect on the allied troops. While tracking the scientists and the key individuals involved in the rocket project, you will come across enemies from both the Germans and Russians. The Russians are trying to get the Nazi scientists to defect to their country and it is your job to make sure that does not happen. Karl is dropped in war-torn Berlin and must locate the missile site before it starts launching. To do this he must find the various people involved in the project and get clues on the secret location of the rocket sites. Improvements have been made to the Bullet Cam so that you do not miss any of the action while sniping. When you make a skillful shot, the Bullet Cam takes over and follows the bullet from the barrel of the gun to the target. All this happens in slow-motion and you also get to see the bullet hit the target and obliterate it in clear detail. While sniping in Sniper Elite V2, you have to consider everything a real sniper would in the heat of battle. You have to adjust the gun by taking into account the effects of gravity, wind, velocity, bullet penetration and aim stability. The X-Ray Kill Cam is a new technology that shows what happens when the sniper bullet enters an enemy’s body and what effects it has on the internal organs such as the heart, lungs and liver.
