Thieves In Time is the fourth instalment in the immensely popular video game series Sly Cooper and is made for the PlayStation 3 platform. In this addictive game, Sly Cooper, the raccoon, and his gang are back with yet another adventurous game. Developed by Sanzaru games and published by Sony Computer Entertainment, the mind blowing platformer stealth video game is meant for both hardcore as well as casual gamers. Synopsis and Features The game is set in a world populated by anthropomorphic animals and picks up the thread of the plot from where it ended in Sly 3: Honor Among Thieves. Sly Cooper, a raccoon from a long line of master thieves, seeks to reunite with his gang to restore the Thievius Raccoonus, a book chronicling the Cooper family lineage. The pages of the book have been destroyed by a villain travelling through time. The player will be able to control Sly, Bentley, Murray, Carmelita Fox, as well as Sly's ancestors and use their skills to pull off mischief-makers and find out who tampered with the Cooper history. Like previous games in the series, players primarily control Sly Cooper, who must snoop around and overcome various obstacles to help restore the history of the Thievius Raccoonus. Sly retains most of his previous abilities, such as navigating poles and ropes, jumping across narrow platforms and stealing items from guards. The additions to this instalment of the game are the costumes earned throughout the course of the game, which give Sly access to new abilities. These special costumes include a suit of armour that allows Sly to reflect projectiles with a shield, an archery outfit that lets him shoot arrows at targets Players can even take these costumes to previously visited levels to discover secret areas. New secret masks and treasures are hidden throughout the game. Unlike the previous instalments in the series, treasures in this Sly Cooper game can only be collected and cannot be sold on the game's ThiefNet service. The clue bottles from previous games of the series make a comeback, allowing the player to unlock new abilities for all of the playable characters. You can also enjoy a multiplayer experience with this instalment of the series and indulge in a fun gaming experience with friends. Bentley, Murray, and Carmelita Fox return as playable characters, along with some of Sly's ancestors; each of them possess unique abilities. Worlds in the game are claimed to be three times the size of the original trilogy. The game also supports stereoscopic 3D and local multiplayer in some sections of the game.
