The SLIK SH-737HD is Hybrid Design 3-way pan and tilt head with built-in adjustable video style drag controls. The head is designed for still photographers that also want to shoot video while working in the field but don't want to carry a separate video head.The all-metal head allows for dual photo and video use. The SH-737HD has individual pan and tilt drag controls that are separate from the pan/tilt handle locks. This allows you to fine-tune the drag or "tightness" of the movement based on the weight of the camera.The head uses the Slik quick release system for easy mounting and removal from your camera. The QR plate uses a folding wing-nut to rotate the standard 1/4 20" thread post onto the camera so you don't need to carry a coin around to attach or remove the plate from your camera.The head uses a 1/4 20" female mounting thread on the bottom that attaches to your tripod legs. Please confirm that your tripod is already outfitted with this thread post or that the thread can be switched between 3/8" and 1/4 20".
