This 58-page illustrated book contains a simple, solitaire simulation of the historical 900-day siege of the Russian city during World War II by the invading Germans. Its purpose is to show the logistical dynamics and characteristics of the original siege, allowing one to experience unfolding events in a realistic manner. Playing the Russian side, the object of the game is to survive the siege. To do so, you will need to marshal your resources and follow a wise strategy to avoid surrender. Each turn represents three days. This game was originally published in Panzerschreck magazine as a Mini-Sim, and appears here in a new, updated version.
