Step 4: Adjust the breather valve & connect the power cord Adjust the ventilation valve according to the dependence of the seedling on air humidity. Then connect the power cord. Step 5: Turn on the light Set timing and brightness Adjust the brightness and time depending on how dependent the seedlings are on light. Step 6: Transplant When seedlings grow to 4-6 leaves they can be transplanted to a larger soil. Recommended light intensity for different plants. Basil leaves: The requirements for light are high and it is usually best to maintain them in a well-lit location. Only when they receive sufficient light the plants will be stronger.
