This 1877 building is a representative example of a polychrome brick building with a jerkin head roof. Of particular interest is the turret and the square tower. Both are clad in glazed terracotta shingles and the tower has tracery panels under the louvered vents. This building is a particularly intact example of a historical building of the period.
