Sanctum 2 is a first-person shooter tower defence video game created independently by Coffee Stain Studios for the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, Windows, OS X, and Linux platforms. The world's first Tower Defense/FPS hybrid game, Sanctum, was followed up with Sanctum 2. The player has to choose one of four distinct character classes and set out on a mission to defend the oxygen-generating Cores from swarms of lethal aliens invading Earth in response to their presence.
