The Salomon technical women's shoes, intended primarily for active mountain hiking, will also prove to be a good solution on a daily basis. They have a strong upper made of natural leather with protective panels for the nose and heel. The use of the Gore-Tex® membrane provides them with complete protection against soaking and allows at the same time to freely drain excess heat and moisture to the outside.

An anatomic collar and ergonomic Ortholite® footbed help keep you fit on long hikes on more or less demanding trails. Thanks to the Contagrip® sole with an aggressive tread and the Advanced Chassis ™ platform, every step, regardless of the ground, is perfectly absorbed and maximally stable, and the grip is excellent.

Gore-Tex®
Gore-Tex® is an advanced membrane that is permanently waterproof, its properties remain unchanged throughout its service life. The secret of Gore-Tex® lies in its revolutionary construction. Made of expanded PTFE, the membrane section contains over 9 billion microscopic pores per square inch. These pores are about 20,000 smaller than a drop of water, but 700 larger than a water vapor molecule. Water cannot therefore penetrate the Gore-Tex® membrane, but as a vapor (gas) it penetrates it easily. Integrated with the ePTFE structure it is an oleophobic, i.e. fat-repellent substance, allowing the penetration of water vapor and at the same time creating a physical barrier preventing the penetration of pollutants such as oils, cosmetics, insect repellants and food ingredients. The special Ortholite® insole, thanks to the charcoal content, has antifungal properties, which inhibits the growth of bacteria. Models with this system also have a very soft finish of the insole, which guarantees even greater walking comfort. Size Chart
Place a sheet of paper on the floor and against a wall
Make sure you are wearing the same socks that you would normally wear with this type of shoe
Wearing these socks, stand on the sheet of paper with your foot perpendicular to the wall and your heel against the wall.
Then use a pen to draw a line just in front of your big toe. Repeat for both feet and take the longer distance to determine your size.
Using a ruler, measure the distance between the wall and the line you drew to find your size.
