How To Apply Neck Pre-Cut Tape
Take your Neck Spider out of the package and unfold it. All you have to do is follow the numbered sections. There are four in this application.
Fold along the black lines and tear the paper apart along the perforations between each section.
Grab both section threes and place the Spider on the back of the patient’s neck so that you can measure exactly where you would like it to end. Have the patient stand up nice and tall and bring their chin down to their chest. You want the ends of section three to end just about an inch below the centre of the hairline.
Peel off the paper backing of section one and rub over the top of the tape to ensure that the tape sticks to the skin.
Peel off the entire paper backing of section two, and hold on to the tab of section three to lay the tape down along the side of the spine without stretching or touching the application adhesive.
Repeat step 5 on the opposite side.
To apply sections three and four, bend the head to the opposite side.
Take the paper backing off of section three and hold on to section four before laying down section three.
Peel off most of the paper of section four to create a paper tab. Lay down section four without any stretch. Rub over the top of the tape to make sure it’s stuck well on the skin.
Repeat steps 8 and 9 on the other side.
Once the tape is down, you should see a ripple effect that helps relieve pressure as it’s lifting on the skin. For anyone with stiffness or discomfort in the neck, this is the application you would use.
