By employing Rycote Onboard suspension at a capsule-level, the SVMX protects your audio from vibration and handling noise without compromising durability. For the very first time on any RODE microphone the SVMX features integrated digital switching, allowing you to easily select any of the numerous in-built filters and settings with the confidence of LED indicators. Acoustically matched true condenser capsules An acoustically matched pair of 1/2" externally biased, true condenser capsules provide studio-quality, immersive stereo sound. Rycote Lyre onboard shock mounting Integrated single-piece thermoplastic shock mounting, designed to minimize handling noise at a capsule-level. Heavy-duty, lightweight aluminum construction Robust metal construction that only weighs 300g (10oz). 9V or Phantom Power (P48) The Stereo VideoMic x can be powered by 9V battery (up to 30 hours) or via P48 phantom power using XLR connectivity. Balanced professional XLR output In addition to standard 3.5mm stereo output, the Stereo VideoMic x provides balanced output via the professional XLR standard (via miniXLR - not included). High Frequency Boost An innovative setting that will allow the Stereo VideoMic x to enhance its high-frequency sensitivity when using the included wind shield.
