Retro People Illustrations

Authentic, mid-century illustrations in color can be especially difficult to find for commercial use, in large part due to the layers and layers of copyright research that must be performed. At piddix I work with a team of copyright and intellectual property lawyers to ensure that every piddix image is safe to use for all kinds of personal and commercial design projects. These mid-century illustrations of people are from both the personal piddix archive as well as several archives I've traveled to in two different states. I've scanned them at 600-900 ppi, restored the often-dirty and marked originals, and isolated them on a nice, bright white background. A great, expressive collection of people from the 1950s to early 1960s.
