Part 2 - Kings to Malachi These workbooks are an attempt to encourage Christians who have found the idea of reading through the whole Bible a rather daunting task. By reading and understanding God’s history, anyone working with this series will hopefully gain a framework for making the rest of the Bible more understandable. This is part two of a three-part series. It covers redemptive history from the death of King David through the end of the Old Testament —the Book of Malachi. The focus of this workbook, like part one, is twofold: identifying some of the places where we see Jesus in the Old Testament and seeing the constant, patient, and persistent God we worship at work in the lives of His people; God, the faithful covenant keeper and Man the covenant breaker. The goal of any Bible Study will always remain, to gain increasing knowledge and love of the whole council of God, a fuller knowledge of the majesty of Christ Jesus our Lord and God’s ultimate purposes in and for His Creation
