Change the color setting first Open one of those file, and click "Image" --- and then choose "Mode" --- and then click "RGB Color" Now you can work on that file with any colors 2. To change the color of the object, after you did the 1st step above, click on the layer of the object, and then Right Click on the layer of the object, choose "Blending Option".
