What is Liquitex Matte Gel Medium?
Liquitex Matte Gel Medium is excellent for retaining brush or knife marks while slowing the drying time and adding body to the paint. You can mix it with transparent colors to achieve impasto glazes of great depth and brilliance.
It is also excellent for transferring printed images.
A Thick, translucent medium for mixing acrylic paint to improve color blending, extend paint volume and drying time and increase paint transparency. Use direct as a glue for paper and canvas.
Do not thin beyond 25% with water, do not mix with turpentine or oils
- Thick, creamy with matte finish; Good pigment load
- Retains peaks and brush strokes; Ideal for learning color theory and color mixing
