Serving Suggestions:
Toast until crispy and golden brown, then serve with your favorite spreads such as avocado, cream cheese, or tomato bruschetta.
Our favorite combo for rugbrød are pesto, butter and a drizzle of honey, and vanilla ice cream.
How to Store:
1. Slice & Cover: Slice and wrap your bread tightly in plastic wrap and/or in an airtight container.
2. Room Temperature: If you intend to enjoy your rugbrød within 1-5 days, storing it at room temperature is suitable.
3. Freeze: If you don't plan to consume the bread within a few days, freezing is preferable over refrigerating your bread.
4. Reheat: Heat your slice of bread in an oven or air-fryer at 200°C for 3-5 minutes, or use a toaster. If frozen, you do not need to thaw beforehand.
