It is not easy to be an officer of the law. It requires one to commit himself or herself so much to the job that one mustn't even hesitate from giving their own life for what is right. Directed by Robert Schwentke and starring Ryan Reynolds, Mary-Louise Parker and Jeff Bridges, R.I.P.D. is a comedic action-crime film that follows a cop who, after getting killed, is recruited by a team of undead police officers who hunt down rogue souls. While employed in the afterlife, he seeks out the assailant who slew him while he was alive.
