This is the ninth installment in the Pro Evolution Soccer series. Lionel Messi along with Fernando Torres is featured on the cover of Pro Evolution Soccer 2010. Enhanced moves, animations, visuals, live player expressions and movements that change based on field conditions are among some of the highlights of this game. Players can now enjoy a better control over penalty shots in terms of accuracy and placement. Furthermore, goalkeepers are now more versatile. The reactions of the crowd to the action on the field are more varied in this game; all new chants and cheers have been introduced to Pro Evolution Soccer 2010. The commentary has been modified as well so that the user gets a more concise and fresh overview of played matches. Master League has been revamped; many changes have been made to managerial aspects so that the user can manage a team for an extended career lifespan. Thanks to Teamvision 2.0, the A.I. (artificial intelligence) system has been tweaked drastically. Defenders and midfielders co-operate greatly with each other to subdue the attack of the opposition. The movement of players are no longer restricted by the team formation; a newly introduced system ensures that the individual defending and attacking nature of players are crucial to the way the team plays. A fresh power gauge system allows the user to formulate strategies prior to the beginning of a match.
