If you're looking for a rich, dark black ink for your fountain pen, then the Velvet Black is the right option. The flow is excellent. No feathering, but there is a significant amount of bleed-through if you use it with a broader nib. It is a good ink for a medium or fine nib. Use if on heavier than normal paper. If you wish to keep the pen aside, it is advisable to wash the ink clean and store. The ink is not waterproof. The bottle contains 60 ml of ink and can be used with any kind of fountain pen.
