Dabu printing is very labor intensive and involves several stages of printing and dyeing therefore the end result is very unique and beautiful. Pattern Details: Batik is an ancient art which uses wax and dyes to create patterns on fabrics. Originated in Indonesia, it involves three major stages of waxing, dyeing, and de-waxing. Fabric: Silk is a natural fibre produced from the cocoons of mulberry silkworm and has a shimmering appearance due to the triangular prism-like structure in the weave.
