   Description
Manchester Art Gallery holds a collection of over 200 artist-designed posters commissioned by the Empire Marketing Board between 1926 and 1933. The poster campaign aimed to make Britons aware of the products of Empire such as Australian butter and Rhodesian tobacco. In this selection, the artworks are presented as tear-out postcards, with fine productions of lithographs by artists including Frank Newbould, Charles Pears and Keith Henderson.
