Post-war British Thoroughbreds: Including Specialist Cars (1955-1960)

An extension of the Author's previous well-received book, this new title covers the cars manufactured during the period 1955-60, including the so-called 'kit' cars of this era. Based on his own very close involvement with the classic car scene, he has set the scene with a vivid description of what motoring was like in the late fifties, before describing the cars themselves in greater detail, with a "potted' history of the manufacturer as an introduction in each case. Contemporary road test data is included in tabular form, together with illustrations of most of the models featured.
