When impending doom threatens the existence of the love of your life, how would you go about saving her? Directed by Paul W. S. Anderson and starring Saturn Award-nominee Kit Harington of Game of Thrones fame, Emily Browning, Carrie-Anne Moss (played Trinity in The Matrix film series) and Golden Globe Award-winner Kiefer Sutherland, Pompeii is an action-adventure drama film. Pompeii tells the story of Milo, a slave, who, through his single-minded ambition, becomes a mighty gladiator. However, despite all the glory he has attained, the love of his life is on the verge of tying the knot with a corrupt Roman senator. Now, Milo has to somehow make his way through a series of dangerous challenges so as to save his beloved before Mount Vesuvius erupts and destroys everyone in Pompeii.
