It picks up leaves dirt debris and other larger forms of objects like sticks acorns or even golf ball sized objects giving the cleaner the ultimate means to cleans the surfaces of your pool. Also it passes these objects up through the large mouth opening in the center where it can then placed into the filtration canisters for later disposal.The brush also scrubs up any algae that may be clinging to the surface as well as near the water line because the cleaner can climb the walls that far up. This brush comes in a pack of two as there are two brushes the cleaner needs to perform these tasks and if one is worn and needs to be replace we always suggest replacing them both for optimum performance.
