The Stainless-Steel Nano Armor inside the jacket protects the fragile OM4 MultiMode BEND INSENSITIVE Corning ClearCurve Fiber Optic Glass within the patch cord. The Plenum Jacket is a 2 Stand (DUPLEX) Patch Cord Cable in a Single Tube jacket for transmitting (TX) and receiving (RX). P2P Nano Armor protects the glass fiber, adds strength and is more than 65% smaller than conventional zipcord patch cords. The nominal outer diameter for Nano Armored in a single jacket is 2.0mm versus conventional fiber duplex that measure 6.0 nominal outer diameter. The Stainless-Steel Nano Armored SingleMode Single Tube design provides the highest quality, bend insensitive glass to ensure the best connection and high performance. P2P Nano Armored Fiber is equipped to withstand bends into tight places and vermin attack within an indoor premise. The LC to LC connectors provides the most flexibility for all your fiber optic projects and usage. Nano Armor Fiber LC to LC Patch Cords can be used in any channel from Data Centers, Pro AV, IT, FTTH, FITH, FTTD, Security, Hi Def Cameras, HDMI over Fiber for Indoor/Outdoor installations and regardless of environmental conditions.CMP cable stands for "Communications Multipurpose Cable, Plenum", which is the so-called "plenum cable". It is designed to limit the amount of smoke emitted when it burns but mainly prevent flame from spreading to more than five feet. In areas where air travels throughout a building via plenum (air handling) spaces, it is critical that the cable is made of the material that doesn't give off too many toxic fumes if burned. When it comes to the difference between CMR vs. CMP, as the flammability requirements for CMP cables are stricter than CMR cables, plenum cables can always replace riser cables, but not the reverse. Plenum rated cables use more expensive PVC/FEP compounds to achieve the flame characteristics, resulting in a higher costing cable. LSZH (low smoke zero halogen) new emerging standard where zero toxins are released when burned, however the spreading of the flames is compromised.
