Produced by DisneyToon Studios, released by Walt Disney Pictures and directed by Roberts Gannaway, Planes: Fire & Rescue is an animated adventure-comedy film that serves as a sequel to Planes. This entertaining flick stars the voices of Dane Cook of Good Luck Chuck fame, Stacy Keach, 3-time Primetime Emmy Award-winner Brad Garrett (starred in Everybody Loves Raymond), Golden Globe Award-winner Teri Hatcher of Desperate Housewives fame and Danny Mann. After winning the Wings Around the Globe race in the prequel, Dusty Crophopper has a prosperous career until his engine’s gearbox is damaged severely. Frustrated about the fact that he can’t race anymore, Dusty heads off on a dangerous flight and crashes at an airport which leads to an accidental fire. So as to make amends for his actions, he joins a fire and rescue team as a firefighter with the hope that he will find happiness in this profession at least.
