But these travellers were hardly ever gifted with a sense Of the perception either Of natural scenery, or of imaginative and devotional Sentiment. Jerusalem, as was expressed by that great genius of whom we have just spoken, did not lie within the line Of their Operations.The third group partly resembled these, but may be distinguished as the literary class.
