Petals of Wisdom from Grandma

In 1991, author Lorraine Strohbehn published her first "letter book," Around My Kitchen Table. She went on to publish three additional books, which were also designed to be included in an envelope the size of a letter (hence, "letter books"): Biblical Self-Image, Choices, and Death of a Dream. Psalm 71:18 states: "Now also when I am old and greyheaded, O God, forsake me not; until I have shewed thy strength unto this generation, and thy power to every one that is to come." This book, Petals of Wisdom from Grandma, combines the updated and revised versions of the letter books, as, in her "later years," Lorraine desires to use her writing to show God's strength and power to "this generation" and to every generation "that is to come." These practical and powerful lessons from God's Word are timeless.
