Coming from Patek Philippes Complications series, the annual calendar was created by the label in 1996. With a 38 mm diameter case made using 18k rose gold, the bezel is set with 141 diamonds (1.28 ct), and the crown is dressed with 14 diamonds (0.06 ct). The silvery sunburst dial features gold applied numerals and apertures that display the day of the week, the date, the month, and the moon phases. It is an innovative mechanism that has appeared as one of Patek Philippe’s flagship models. The timepiece comes with an exhibition case back protected by sapphire glass and is powered by a self winding mechanical movement enabled by 34 jewels and 21K gold central winding rotors. The watch also has a power reserve of 45 hours and offers water resistance of 30 meters. The stunning creation is finished off with an alligator strap that is hand stitched and secured by a prong buckle.
