P-TR2 to zestaw pasywnych urządzeń do transmisji sygnału video za pomocą skrętki komputerowej. Elementy te zapewniają dopasowanie impedancji kabla koncentrycznego (75Ω) do impedancji przewodusymetrycznego (100Ω).W celu uzyskania najlepszej jakości transmisji i odporności na zakłócenia należy stosować kabel UTP kat. 5 (lub wyższej). Przy wykonaniu połączenia należy zwrócić uwagę na to, aby do transmisji użyć żył z tej samej pary skrętki oraz odpowiednio podłączyć przewody do zacisków śrubowych „+” do „+” i „-” do „-”.Nieprawidłowe podłączenie spowoduje zakłócenia obrazu.P-TR2 zakończony jest wtykiem BNC umieszczonym bezpośrednio na obudowie transformatora.
