The material is a biodegradable thermoplastic polyurethane that holds out the dust, dirt and water you will encounter while swimming, boating, kayaking or just walking about town in the rain. It comes with a nylon belt webbing and handy neck lanyard for carrying purposes. In addition, you can clip it to your backpack or other bag with the included carabineer clip.
