Copywork serves as handwriting practice and a memorization aid, and can also be utilized in catechesis. The selections are presented in print, but the parent or teacher may choose to instruct the child to copy the selections in cursive instead. Black and white illustrations of the Blessed Mother are interspersed. Children may color these with crayon or colored pencil.
