On the Ridge: Shire of Mirboo 1894-1994 [signed] [first edition]

This work provides a record of the four generations of men and women who created a prosperous and vibrant community in South Gippsland. The author, who grew up on a dairy/crop farm there in the 1930s, portrays the formidable task of converting a densely-forested area into productive farmland. Primary sources such as early newspapers, council records and diaries are combined with oral history. Original photographs are also included.
