The Constellation came about after Omegas Centenary watch which was a limited edition chronometer watch released in 1948 to celebrate the brands 100th anniversary. Amidst high demands for the Centenary, Omega released the Constellation in 1952 and named it in honour of the jet that flew during World War 2. Over the years, the iconic timepiece has gone through various interpretations and touches to be better in precision and usage. American model and actress, Cindy Crawford, joined the Omega family as an ambassador in 1995 and is their longest serving ambassador. She worked closely with the brand and shared her inputs for the Constellation series as well. This Cindy Crawford Constellation watch is made from stainless steel and it has the signature details of the Roman numerals on the bezel and the observatory with the stars engraved on the caseback. The quartz watch has a bronze dial and on it, there are diamond hour markers and two hands. The creation is luxe and it has a feminine appeal.
