Develop your RAW and Non-RAW images and the footages simulating the popular Olympus OM-D E-M1X Picture Modes, also brand new OM System OM-1 Picture Modes. The Olympus OM-D E-M1X is a dual-grip Micro Four Thirds mirrorless camera aimed at pro sports and action photographers. The OM System OM-1 is the first camera launched by OM Digital Solutions OMDS after taking ownership of Olympus' camera division. The company tells us it chose the name OM-1 in honor of the 50th anniversary of the original OM-1 film camera. It carries the Olympus name on its viewfinder as an homage to that model but will likely be the last camera to do so. Enjoy Olympus and OM System in-camera's colors, create stunning skin tones, enchanted landscapes and special effects. i-Enhance - this provides optimal colors and contrast for the subject - i.e. increased vibrance of colors. Vivid - this mode adds saturation and contrast and creates pictures with deep color, dark blacks, and white whites. Natural - this mode gives a more balanced look, with color and contrast that not too intense or muted. Muted - this mode is best for an image that will be post-processed later. Portrait - this mode gives a more natural texture and coloration of skin. Monotone - it provides images with dark shadows and pleasing whites and grays. The film that is closest to Monotone mode may be Kodak Plus-X, without all the grain. Underwater mode is specifically tuned for underwater photography. Monochrome Neutral is a standard black and white look. Sepia is the classic old time style process. The Green filter is used in landscape photography as it does favor the deepening of reds and oranges and ideally suited for fall foliage landscape photography. There is a slight drawback as it will lighten the blue in the skies and reduce contrast. The Red filter has the most dramatic effects. It creates high contrast in monochromatic scenes. It is one of the most used filters for landscape photography and where a high level of creativity is expressed. The Orange filter will give a slightly different effect but a more pronounced darkening effect on blue skies, while a red filter will be stronger still, producing dramatic looking images with strong contrast. In portraiture, on the other hand, a green filter can be flattering. The Yellow filter has the least effect and used mainly to make blue skies a shade darker. It is probably the most used in B&W film photography and least used of all the colored filters in digital photography. When working with RAW files, better use the Neutral / Flat profile to get the closest look, in other case the saturated colors may be overwritten. If you are working with black and white images in Adobe Photoshop or similar redactors, make sure that the working color space should be RGB not Grayscale! . The Trademarks "OM System", "Olympus" and "Picture Mode" of OM Digital Solutions and Industrial Partners Inc. JIP are used for identification purposes only.
