Nursery Rhyme Frieze

This is the First Edition published in England by Angus & Robertson, 1986. Note: there are several different editions all using the same ISBN number. This edition consists of a soft cover portfolio (7 ½"x10 3/8") with cover illustration. The portfolio contains four separate fold out friezes each with three full page illustrations alternating with Mother Goose rhymes and surrounded by an illustrated decorative border. When unfolded the six-panel friezes are 10 ¼ "x 44 ¼ ". The friezes are in New condition and certainly have never been unfolded. The portfolio is also in excellent condition with minor edge wear and light creasing at the spine fold. The rhymes included are: Oranges and lemons / To market to market / See, saw, Margaret Daw / Jack Sprat / The Queen of Hearts / Bye, baby bunting / Simple Simon / Little Boy Blue / Goosey, goosey, gander / Oh, dear! / There was an old woman.
