The map covers an area stretching from part of Kew Gardens, including the Temperate House, eastward to Mortlake station and The Green, and from Kew Gardens station southward to Lower Mortlake Road. In the centre is an area of orchards, for the map really covers the area inbetween Richmond, Kew and Mortlake. In the SW corner are a few streets of NE Richmond. Other features on the map include tramways, Gas works, a stretch of the Thames, and the West End of Mortlake. There are extracts from a Richmond Street Directory, together with a list of Private Residents in Mortlake. (Note that Kew Gardens continue onto Sheet 84.)
