Night Mission (Tales of the RAF)

These are the stories of young Harry Winslow and his friendships with the pilots of the Royal Air Force in World War II England. Written for boys but appealing to all, the tales are based on history and depict values such as courage, heroism, and responsibility. Tales of the RAF: Night Mission As Harry and his friends work frantically to complete a mission for Harry's mother, the pilots of the RAF fly a night patrol mission and run into some enemy planes. The children are distracted when they see the damaged planes trying to land, and Harry gives up on his mission to help the pilots. In the end Harry sees what loyalty can accomplish.
