Navi Illustrated is a new series to introduce children to our Jewish heroes of the Navi.In parts 1 & 2, the story of Gideon, Shoftim chapters 6, 7 & 8, is faithfully retold in classic comic book format - a new and innovative way to teach Navi to a new generation of children.Gideon, a young farmer from the smallest family of sheivet Menashe, recognized the hardships that were plaguing Bnei Yisrael at the hands of Midyan. By honoring his father and standing up for the Klal, Hashem catapulted him to be shofeit and savior of Bnei Yisrael.Volume two focuses on Shoftim 7:9-8:35 with an index of sources as well as additional commentary and insights.
